History
1991
Korean – American Christian Center in Almaty had been established by Pastor Nathaniel Kil from New Jersey, USA.
2011
After giving an education to over 200 Christians in Kazakhstan for 20 years, Pastor Nathaniel Kil transferred the Seminary to Pilgrim Mission Church (PMC), New Jersey, USA.
2012
Pilgrim Mission Church (PMC) formed a nonprofit organization of Central Asia Education Fund (CAES) as managing board of directors in New Jersey, USA. CAES renamed the seminary to Central Asia United Theological Seminary (CAUTS).
CAES exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding with Canada Christian College (CCC) in Toronto, Canada. In agreement, CCC would endorse curriculum of CAUTS and issues an academic degree (diploma) of B. Th. And M. Div. program for graduating students of CAUTS.
CAES nominated Pastor Seung S. Bang in the post of Dean.
2012 – 2020
CAES continued program on B.Th. and M.Div. program by a face to face classes till March, 2020 pandemic broken out.
CAES passed a resolution at a board meeting that CAUTS selects virtual classes to keep up with changing trend due to pandemic circumstances.
June 2021
Pastor Seung S. Bang who was in charge of operation of the Seminary residing in Almaty resigned after 8 years of service.
June 2021
CAES began establishment of virtual seminary in collaboration with Dr. HY Choi in Ukraine, Dr. DS Bang in Ukraine and Dr. SC Ahn in Russia.
September 2021
First virtual class began.
